4. Payment Terms and Refund Policy
Payments Finality:
All payments made to Just in Case Kate are final and non-refundable, in accordance with U.S. and South African law, except where otherwise required by applicable consumer protection statutes.
Annual Subscriptions and Discounts:
Payments for annual subscriptions, including any associated discounts, are non-refundable under any circumstances. By making an annual payment, you agree to commit to the full term of the subscription.
No Refunds for Services Rendered:
Due to the nature of our services, refunds will not be provided once a payment has been processed. This policy ensures the sustainability of our operations and the availability of our resources for clients.
5. Right to Terminate Relationship
Just in Case Kate reserves the right to terminate any client relationship at our sole discretion, including but not limited to instances where continuing the relationship would conflict with our moral or ethical standards. In such cases, written notice will be provided, and no refunds will be issued for payments already made.
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate and timely information to facilitate the delivery of Services.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with your use of our Services.
Use the Services only for lawful business purposes.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
Engage in any activities that are illegal or unethical while using our Services.
Misuse the Services, including but not limited to attempting to interfere with their functionality or security.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or replicate proprietary tools or methodologies used in our Services.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, methodologies, tools, and materials associated with Just in Case Kate are owned or licensed by us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Just in Case Kate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our Services.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and South Africa. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of these jurisdictions, as applicable.
14. Amendments
We reserve the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

No long-term commitment required for short-term work. When you're ready for ongoing VA support, our long-term solutions are available with a 90-day minimum commitment so we can match you with the right person, onboard them properly, and make sure the partnership actually sticks.
How does the AI and tech side work? Do I need to be technical?

How long do projects typically take?
It depends on the scope, but most projects range from 2.5 weeks to 12 to 15 weeks. Smaller, focused engagements move fast. Larger builds that include hiring, systems, and full infrastructure take longer because we do it right, not just quickly. Memberships, subscriptions, and ongoing retained services require a 90-day commitment to start, and after that there are no long-term contracts required to sustain the engagement. We stay because the work is good, not because you're locked in.
